Considering increasing amount of work on navigational aids installation in the port terminals, port approaches and high demand for navigational aids quality design a special navigational aids department was established in the company in 2010. Department staff immediately started designing navigational aids for terminals and port stations for the Olympics in Sochi as well as operating temporary navigational aids till installation of permanent ones.

The company was engaged in construction of the gas pipeline Nord Stream performing a reliable and high-precision positioning of technical fleet involved in pipe laying. 

We continued to provide engineering, navigational and hydrographic support to construction of the Bovanenkovo-Ukhta gas pipeline system (Kara Sea), the Sakhalin-Khabarovsk-Vladivostok main gas pipeline (underwater crossings), the Nevelskoy Strait crossing (Sea of Okhotsk). In general, more than 40 employees were involved in works at these worksites. 

Fertoing proceeded with debris clearance in a new Sochi seaport cargo terminal (under construction) at the mouth of the river Mzymta after the storm of December 14, 2009. 

In the framework of the main gas pipeline Dzhubga-Lazarevskoye-Sochi construction we performed hydrographic works in its landfall area. 

In order to ensure safe navigation and execution of intergovernmental agreements on the Saimaa channel rental by Finland diving inspections of bottom patches were performed in its waters. 

June 2010, Fertoing started performing hydrographic survey of bottom topography in the waters near the mouth of the Kodori river and adjacent waters as well as port waters of Abkhazia with the purpose of exploration and production of non-metallic materials necessary for Olympic facilities construction in Sochi. 

Providing engineering maintenance for hydraulic operation, during the year we carried out more than 112 works on certification, maintenance, and implementation of hydraulic justifying studies. The largest number of works fell on the ports of St. Petersburg, Murmansk, Arkhangelsk. 

During the year we completed works according to 145 Agreements in the ports of        St. Petersburg, Ust-Luga, Vysotsk, Murmansk, Novorossiysk, Arkhangelsk, Lomonosov, Kronstadt, Nakhodka, Sochi, Sukhumi, Tuapse. 

The Company consisted of four departments: engineering, hydrographic, navigational aids, research and development. Our team consisted of 63 people.
