2011

The beginning of 2011 was marked by fundamental changes in Fertoing organizational structure caused by considerable increase in work scope and geographical expansion. Within the company the following departments appeared: the geological survey department, underwater engineering department including the diving service and the ROV service, estimate and contract department as well as production and technical facilities.

During the year we created the complete production and technological base, motor transport, and small boat maintenance areas, a full storage area equipped with hydraulic stackers. Total production and technical support base area estimated 1,250 square meters.

Throughout the year, we successfully carried out works on marine terminals and port stations of the Caucasian coast of Russia – from Novorossiysk to Adler – performed bottom surveys, control and inspection surveys, dredging monitoring, design and equipment of navigational aids.

In the Far East and on Sakhalin Island Fertoing performed engineering survey, navigational and hydrographic support to field development within the framework of Sakhalin-I and Sakhalin-III projects. We continued to provide engineering support to construction of the Sakhalin-Khabarovsk-Vladivostok main gas pipeline (underwater crossings), the Nevelskoy Strait crossing and the Bovanenkovo-Ukhta gas pipeline system (underwater crossing of the Baydaratskaya Bay). Almost all departments were engaged in these projects.

Fertoing started up complex engineering technical works on manufacturing quality control of hydraulic engineering, hydrographic support to dredging in the Taman oil terminal considering compliance with design requirements and confirmation of the extracted soil volume while dredging.

During the year we completed works according to 124 Agreements in the ports of        St. Petersburg, Ust-Luga, Vysotsk, Vyborg, Murmansk, Novorossiysk, Arkhangelsk, Lomonosov, Kronstadt, Sochi, Taman, Taganrog, Tuapse, Astrakhan and Olya.

The Company consisted of six departments: engineering, hydrographic, navigational aids, engineering and geological survey, underwater engineering and research and development. Our team consisted of 91 people.
